Bob pokes fun at his lack of size, spotlighting it
To make it seem a situation that he’s brought to terms
Though nothing could be further from the truth. It seers!
It towers! It overshadows everything. Distorts reality.
Self-denigrating size jokes, constant ‘really-I-don’t-care’,
Give warning not to laugh or make such jokes oneself.
While papier-mache men strut loudly with inflated merit
This bugaboo unjustly puts Bob’s noble traits in shade.
A fancied zit that blights the mirror’s pleasure in a face.
